If you are, or know, early and mid-career professionals in academia or practice who are interested in:
– developing and researching a personal project focused on democracy and the rule of law in Europe,
– collaborating with esteemed host institutions all over Europe,
– engaging within an interdisciplinary network of Fellows and Alumni,

In view of the ongoing crises in and around Europe, re:constitution aims at strengthening rule of law structures and democratic processes based on pan-European mobility, fact-based and interdisciplinary cooperation and enhancing a network of legal and democracy scholars and practitioners.
For more information, please refer to the Calls for Applications for Track 1 and Track 2, as well as the FAQ section. Next to applications from residents in the EU and non-EU EEA, we also welcome applications from residents in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Switzerland, Ukraine or the United Kingdom. Track 2 is specifically designed for those in practical work environments, featuring a flexible structure regarding the mobility period to better suit individual professional and personal circumstances.
The application deadline is March 5, 2026, at 12 noon (CET).
