When remembering the crimes of the National Socialists there are still many blank spots and untold stories. With this year’s photo competition, we are putting the spotlight on exactly these blank spaces. In line with our annual theme #WatchOutHstry, we are looking forward to motifs that highlight little-known places or stories of NS Injustice. Whether it’s a forgotten or over-formed memorial site, a photo of an encounter with survivors of the NS occupation, or a snapshot from a project funded by the EVZ Foundation – show us your perspective on the topic! The best 3 pictures will be awarded prize money of up to 2,000 euros.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

The competition is open to anyone aged 18.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE?

a) upload a self-taken picture as a post on your own public Instagram account, tag the EVZ Foundation and tag the post with #WatchOutHstry and #PhotoCompetition,
or
b) fill out the form on our website and upload a self-taken image there.

The deadline for entries is October 8, 2023.
